Geoff Wolfe

Experienced Family Law Attorney – Divorce, Child Custody & High-Asset Divorce

Attorney Geoff Wolfe is an experienced Georgia family law attorney who focuses his practice on divorce, child custody, custody modifications, child support, contempt actions, and high-asset family law litigation. With nearly two decades of courtroom experience, Mr. Wolfe brings a unique combination of trial advocacy, financial expertise, and practical problem-solving to families facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Mr. Wolfe understands firsthand the emotional and financial challenges that accompany divorce and custody disputes. After going through a divorce himself, he became passionate about helping good parents protect their children, their financial stability, and their future. Today, he uses his extensive litigation background to advocate for families throughout the metro Atlanta area, guiding clients through complex legal issues with both strength and compassion.

Education and Professional Background

Geoff Wolfe was born and raised in Martinsville, Virginia. He earned multiple undergraduate degrees from Roanoke College and Vanderbilt University, including a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.), Bachelor of Arts in French (B.A.), and Bachelor of Arts in the History of Religions (B.A.). He later earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in the History of Religions from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Before entering the legal profession, Mr. Wolfe worked as a Revenue Accountant for Norfolk Southern Corporation in Atlanta, giving him valuable insight into financial systems, corporate operations, and complex financial documentation—skills that are particularly valuable in high-asset divorce cases and complex marital estate disputes.

Mr. Wolfe later attended Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law and Beason Graduate School of Business, where he earned both a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.). While in law school, he gained early courtroom experience clerking in the Family and Criminal Divisions of the Tenth Judicial Circuit in Jefferson County, Alabama, and worked as a real estate paralegal while completing his legal studies.

After graduating from law school, Mr. Wolfe returned to his alma mater and served as a full-time professor at Roanoke College, where he taught Business Law and Ethics.

Trial and Litigation Experience

Attorney Wolfe has been a litigation and trial attorney since 2005, representing clients in state, federal, and appellate courts in multiple jurisdictions.

From 2005 to 2012, he practiced law in the United States Virgin Islands, where he handled complex litigation. During that time, he represented major corporations including Exxon and Wyndham Hotels in high-stakes cases involving millions of dollars in potential liability.

Family Law Practice in Georgia

Mr. Wolfe returned to Atlanta, Georgia in 2012 and resumed practicing law in Georgia. Today, Mr. Wolfe dedicates 100% of his practice to family law, representing clients in matters including:

  • Divorce
  • High-asset divorce
  • Child custody and parenting plans
  • Child custody modifications
  • Child support modifications
  • Contempt and enforcement actions

Because of his background in finance, accounting, and business, Mr. Wolfe is particularly skilled at analyzing complex financial records and identifying issues related to income, assets, and hidden financial information that may impact divorce and support cases.

While he is an experienced courtroom advocate who is prepared to take cases to trial when necessary, Mr. Wolfe also believes in helping clients find practical and cost-effective solutions whenever possible, especially when children are involved.
